City Clerk Elevator Speech
During Goal Setting, the CCAC Board created a committee tasked with promoting the City Clerk profession. One of their ideas was to create an elevator speech / business card to be used by all of us as a tool for defining our role when asked “What is a City Clerk?”
The elevator speech / business card was unveiled at the Annual Conference in Ventura. Those who attended were able to pick up preprinted cards. For those of you who did not attend, or who would like to modify the card, it is available below for your use. Feel free to customize the card in a way that best represents you and help us in promoting our profession.

Bylaw Amendments
As one of its goals this year, the CCAC Executive Board, through the services of an outside parliamentarian and a subcommittee, completed a comprehensive review of the organization’s bylaws. The end result is the creation of the following three documents: (1) CCAC Bylaws, (2) League Bylaws, and (3) CCAC Policies and Procedures. All voting members will have an opportunity to cast their ballot on this important issue.
